I am inexplicably drawn to texture and pattern, whether found naturally or generated by man. The more distressed by the passage of time the better and more interesting.

I am often still hesitant. But each time I make a piece, I find myself driven to answer the question, ‘what if?’ And for the last three years that question has been focused around the process of paper lamination. Readily available, and taking many different forms, paper has enabled me to explore my love of textiles in a way I had not previously thought possible.
